Insight Mindfulness/Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Life Coaches and meditation teachers Val Foster and Bill Van Ollefen will guide you through this inspiring day that will nourish your body, spirit and soul. You will:

· Learn valuable tools to calm your critical inner voice and redirect cravings and urges, ultimately gaining greater control over your behavior;

· Discover your mindful identity;

· Learn about the power of acceptance;

· Tune into the power of the breath.

Surround yourself with peace and serenity as you embrace this day of mindful reflection. We will be providing a lunch of lentil soup, homemade bread, coffee, tea and water. If this doesn’t appeal to you, please pack a lunch.

About the teachers: Val Foster and Bill Van Ollefen, Certified Insight Mindfulness/Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Life Coaches, own Pathway to Mindfulness and help their clients lead calmer, happier, more fulfilled lives. Val worked as a journalist for decades and credits her ability to stay calm under pressure to meditation. Bill was a corporate executive, and when traditional medication and treatments failed to help his severe pain caused by a spinal cord injury, he turned to mindfulness meditation. Both have taken part in numerous mindfulness retreats over the years and have studied Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction at UMass Medical School, are Certified Meditation Instructors, are certified teachers in Am I Hungry®, and are certified cognitive behavioral therapy practitioners, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy practitioners, and certified life coaches.
