About the event
RUMBLE tells the story of a profound, essential, and, until now, missing chapter in the history of American music: the Indigenous influence. Featuring music icons such as:
CHARLEY PATTON, MILDRED BAILEY, LINK WRAY, BUFFY SAINTE-MARIE, JIMI HENDRIX, JESSE ED DAVIS, ROBBIE ROBERTSON, REDBONE, RANDY CASTILLO, TABOO
RUMBLE shows how these talented Native musicians helped shape the soundtracks of our lives. It explores how the Native American influence is an integral part of music history, despite attempts to ban, censor, and erase Indian culture in the United States.
Join us for an evening of fun, community, and a shared compassion for our brothers and sisters who have suffered so much in this country solely for their skin color, beliefs and culture.
Cost: by donation to support Medicine Wheel Ride - working to stop the trafficking and murder of Native American women and children
