About the event

Join Katy Romita and Beth Leas as we celebrate Earth Day - surrounded by Mother Nature at the beautiful Sticks and Stones Farm. This is the perfect time and place to reflect, reconnect with ourselves, and explore the path of mindfulness meditation and our connection to the Earth.

We’ll spend an afternoon in community and in nature, exploring simple ways that we can all walk more gently on this earth. Learn what you can actually do to make a difference for the climate.

Embark on some fun within the beautiful oasis of Sticks and Stones Farm to envision the future you'd like to see. Sink into the beauty within yourself, as well as the beauty all around us, with some guided meditation, reflective writing, and other practices that encourage you to look at the world with fresh eyes. Leave Sunday evening feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

The afternoon will include:

  1. Mindfulness Meditation
  2. The Art of Inquiry - Reflective Writing
  3. Tips and Tools for caring for our shared home, Earth
  4. Guided practices to help you envision the future we want
  5. Plenty of time to spend in nature

Everyone welcome. Come as you are.

Katy Romita, Founder of One Small Stone:  Katy  Romita is a meditation teacher and a student of the natural world. Katy  writes, "Nature had always seemed so steady - a literal "rock" in an  otherwise crazy and unpredictable world. So, it really felt like the  ground was shifting underneath me when I started learning that the  migration of birds, the changing of the seasons, and my family's safety  from extreme weather - seemingly simple things that I'd always taken for  granted - were not as reliable as I thought." One Small Stone is Katy's  response to this recognition of climate change. Climate change is  scary, but it is equally true that solutions are possible. One Small  Stone helps people bring awareness, compassion, and energy to solutions  for a healthy climate, by connecting people to practical environmental  solutions, while also encouraging people to connect to their own innate,  inherent goodness. www.onesmallstone.net
