About the event
"Everything is created twice. First in the mind, and then in reality”. – Robin S. Sharma Come to explore your chakras and paint with Alzbeta and Jackie! In this workshop we will invoke your hidden creativity, inner power and manifest it into a painting. Chakra is a Sanskrit word, which translates to wheel or vortex. Chakras are spinning wheels which are located on our spine, supports our organs and overall life energy known as Prana or Qi. In the first half of the workshop, Alzbeta will guide you on a journey through your chakras. You will learn about the chakra system, how it is related to your well-being and why we should give them our attention. We will talk about their function in your life and why is it important to bring them into balance. After empowering you with all you need to know she guides a meditation with focus on choosing one of your chakras to manifest in your painting.
Jackie will then give you the structure and materials to create a mixed-media painting of the chakra that you desire to manifest in it’s full beauty and power. You will have time to explore the use of color, intuition and imagination to bring a balanced chakra to life on paper. In the creation of this piece of art, you are keeping your intention on this being a representation of your own chakra. When you go home with this painting and display it somewhere you will see everyday, you will continuously be brought into alignment with the balanced healthy chakra system you have designed, manifesting it not only on paper but in your daily experience of life. We will end with an opportunity to share what we created with the group. The art supplies provided include paper, acrylic and watercolor paints, oil pastels, colored pencils, crayons, etc. You don’t need to bring anything except a water bottle and slippers or thick socks. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early so we can begin our opening circle on time. No artistic “talent” or experience is necessary. Come as you are! Space is limited to 12 participants. Please reserve your spot as soon as possible by emailing Jackie at visionfaerie@gmail.com. Cost: Sliding Scale: $39-99 can be paid cash, check, venmo@visionfaerie or PayPal visionfaerie@gmail.com.
