Ecstatic Dance with Jackie Malka Ryan

ALL ages are welcome to this first ever dance event, so bring your kids!  No prior dance experience is necessary.  This is a free form, barefoot, sober event in a gorgeous yoga studio with views of nature all around.

We will open with a guided warm-up to help you loosen up your body and mind, releasing fear of judgement to set your movement free. Then we will surrender to letting the music guide our movement, as we tap into our body’s own natural rhythms and shapes.

I will have some art supplies and a little table set up for people who need a dance break and want to express in alternative ways.  Come be a part of this blissful experience, as we embark on creating an Ecstatic Dance community in Fairfield County!

Suggested Sliding Scale: $15-20 for adults. $5-10 for kids.  Please come even if this is out of your price range and contribute what you can.

This event takes place in the Stone Barn.  When you enter the driveway, park in the lot to the right.  After you walk into the barn, please proceed towards the back through the double doors, and go up the stairs to the yoga studio.  There will be signs!  Unfortunately, this is not currently a wheelchair accessible space.  

There will be some snacks and hangout time afterwards, feel free to bring a snack to share.  There is beautiful hiking here you can do before or after the dance!
