CT Death Collective's Deathsgiving Potluck

Gratitude and loss are often considered to be mutually exclusive, but it is in the interweaving of the two where we can find enrichment in our lives.

This year, our first Deathsgiving will be an opportunity to explore the different elements of these topics. We will be thinking about how death and loss can allow us to feel more gratitude for life itself. We can discuss how we can show gratitude to someone who has passed. Our conversations may also investigate our feelings in relation to the phenomenon of the scarcity heuristic. We may even explore the complex relief we may feel when someone passes and their suffering ends.
