Come and join us in welcoming Evan "Chipmunk" Pritchard and Grandmother Nancy for an afternoon dedicated to indigenous teachings.
Beyond the dualities of good or bad, happy or sad, right or wrong, there is a place in the heart of unconditional gratitude for the gift of life itself. As many a Native American grandmother has demonstrated over the centuries of struggle, this radical gratitude can be the inspiration for some amazing prayers to our Creator, prayers of healing and hope, but also prayers of humility, beyond the “I want this or that” attitude that makes us forget that gratitude is the best attitude of all. Even in life’s most painful moments can we find new opportunities for learning and spiritual growth if we choose to be grateful for the experience.
