About The Event
This gathering will meet on a regular basis the 2nd Thursday of every month. Each month will offer a different theme as well as the opportunity to explore the science and every day application of positive psychology – the study of human flourishing. Join in on heartfelt and lively conversations that will support your capacity for health, resilience, mindfulness and overall well-being! This month’s topic: Pandemic Silver Linings Date: June 10 Time: 7 - 8:30 PM Cost: By donation to Love Has a Home Donna Vella, CHHC Donna Vella has been involved in health and wellness for more than 30 years. She is a Kripalu-certified Mindful Outdoor Guide, health coach, speaker and workshop facilitator who inspires personal growth with a gentle balance of positive psychology, nutrition, mindfulness and embodied connection with nature. Her mantra is “nourish to flourish!” Donna earned certifications in Mindful Outdoor Leadership-Level I from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, as well as Positive Psychology and Teaching for Transformation from the Wholebeing Institute. She received her Holistic Health Coach Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She is a recovering perfectionist and passionate about sharing new ways of becoming our best selves and striving for our highest potential. She is the founder of Stamford’s Positive Living Forum, and the newly-formed Newtown Positive Living Forum, graciously hosted by Love Has a Home.
