About the event
Jackie and Celine are two ladies enthusiastic about the death positive moment. Now held all over the world this movement was originally founded by Jon Underwood based on the work of Bernard Cretan and we can credit Lizzy Stiles with bringing the first death cafe to the United States.
In hosting a monthly death cafe, Jackie and Celine hope to hold a space where the stigma around discussing death and dying is gone. Bring your thoughts, wonders, and ideas for an evening of sweets, tea, and a roaring bonfire. We are open to discussing any and all things death related but please keep in mind this is NOT a grief and bereavement group.
We encourage you to bring a warm blanket and your favorite mug to sip tea. This is a free event with donations appreciated. If you’re running late or will need to leave early we still encourage you to come as this is an informal conversation! In the event of inclement weather we will move to a zoom format with a link sent out day of to those who have RSVP’d.
Third Monday of every month 7pm.
Meetings to be held on Zoom until further notice
Zoom Links will be provided to registrants
Please rsvp to celinecurrier@gmail.com
